Internship - Part Time, Unpaid



The Social Media Intern will be responsible for social media engagement across all of IAmCollegeLife Inc. social media platforms including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. Intern will be expected to engage with followers, create content and develop and follow a schedule for posts, even when not physically online. The Social Media Intern should have an understanding of engagement analytics and the most efficient language and aesthetics for each platform. The Social Media Intern will also be provided to the opportunity to create their own social media campaign, whether that surround a specific holiday, event or other special interest within the autism community.

  • Creatively driven and detail oriented

  • Excited about creative collaboration

  • Skilled storyteller with compelling writing skills

  • Good visual eye (photo, video, graphic design, etc.) 



  • Experience managing or contributing to a social media account 

  • Assist in the planning, execution, and maintenance of monthly content calendars 

  • Creation of engaging content including text, images, and video

  • Daily housekeeping on relevant platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter)

  • Strong planning and organizational skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Proficiency in photo and video editing software

Event Planner Intern

Internship - Part Time, Unpaid



We need an intern to work our events, and we have events coming up in 2020; including a fundraiser step show, our Learn & Lunches, and a scholarship award show. We'll need an intern who can not only help execute the events day of, but also plan and think through ALL the things with minimal direction.


As an event planner intern, you will:

·        Organize pre and post-event registration, planning, and logistics

·        Assist in organization and execution of the events

·        Secure supporters for the events

·        Work with the CEO to strategize and create communication campaigns for supporters and members of the community

·        Participate in achieving goals by reaching out to potential donors, volunteers, and supporters and building relationships

·        Develop and practice public speaking skills

·        Plan and execute events

·        Plan and execute a PSA (Public Service Announcement)


·        Event planning experience is preferred

·        Have strong communications skills both via email and phone

·        Be a proactive thinker

·        Be creative
